A STAR IS RISING...
Will Preyer, Jr. was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York on March 6, 1987. He moved with his family to Houston, TX at the age of 6. At a young age, Will was filled with the love of music from his father, a jazz trombone player.

Even while receiving his Marketing degree from Sam Houston State University, a strong love for music continued to linger in Will’s life. In conjunction with two of his best friends Onaome Mukoro and Chris Davis (R&B recording artist Davis Chris) he helped construct a stage play entitled "Undergrad: The Musical" in which he starred as "Jamal Evans" and was the musical coordinator.

Will has been influenced and inspired by a number of R&B, Soul, Pop, Jazz and Gospel artists. Today, a talented singer, songwriter, pianist, actor and producer, he believes that his musical influences shape his style of music and desires to influence his listeners in the same manner. Willie P mixes his great tone quality and sultry sounds with an energetic soul-capturing performance developed from weekly performances with Universal Records jazz recording artist Chris Mitchell in Jazz Lounges and nightclubs in Houston, TX like the famous Red Cat Jazz Cafe.

As one of three praise and worship leaders at Oasis Family Life Church in Dallas, GA, Will has had the pleasure of singing background vocals for artists like Lowell Pye, Marvin Winans, Jr., Damita Haddon, Marcus Dawson and more. Under the tutelage of his mentor and good friend B. David Stevens, Will has decided to step out from the background and begin his legacy as a solo recording artist and performer.
